AWS Deadline Cloud for VRED software is a fully managed, cloud-based, render management solution to burst high-quality rendering at scale. This easy-to-deploy and affordable solution supports VRED core and service-managed fleet (SMF) infrastructure—managed by AWS, requiring no IT commitments to configure, deploy, and maintain infrastructure and licensing. Customer-managed fleet (CMF) infrastructure offers end users the flexibility to use their existing on-prem hardware infrastructure or cloud-based environments to perform VRED rendering. Slides and live demos will illustrate how AWS Deadline Cloud for VRED can be integrated into an existing pipeline. This is illustrated through interfaces, including stand-alone tools, the Deadline Cloud API, and a render job submitter. Features highlighted will include grouping workers to fleets, assigning render job prioritization and scheduling, as well as monitoring progress through the Deadline Cloud monitor desktop application and AWS Management Console.

Digitization of creative design workflows has unleashed creators’ capabilities and allowed them to experience the designed product earlier. But it has some downsides. Back in the day, one could go down to the shop floor and walk around clay models having an instant update on the project progress and design evolution. Today, it can be challenging to find the right visualization file aggregating the latest modeling data, unless you know who’s working on the visualization data and you get over their shoulder to have a quick look on the latest evolution.
