    Description

All orchestras need a conductor. Without it, the different instruments don’t achieve a greater whole. At the same time the musicians must be allowed to play their instrument with freedom so to not break the creativity and joy of playing. Big organizations can be like these orchestras. Sometimes though, they find themselves to decentralized and siloed, much like an orchestra without a score, or a conductor. Standardizing across organizations like this can represent vast challenges. Through the use of BIM360, and with the help of Autodesk consulting, Sweco has managed to get multiple countries and business areas to playing together on a achieving the right balance of a structured approach to design management but leaving room for local adaptions. Now we want to share how we got the orchestra in tune, following the score, but protecting the creative freedom of our musicians.
