Arcadis was able to reduce the risk and improve productivity in the processing of hundreds of change orders for the California High-Speed Rail project. The team struggled using Microsoft SharePoint in the management of the volumes of information, and had no automated way for quantity verification. Introducing Autodesk Build software into this large infrastructure project provided a better platform in the organization of the information and data. Adding Autodesk Takeoff software to the team’s workflow improved the productivity of verifying quantities of the submitted change orders, boosting estimate productivity by 50%.
