Description
The challenge of transitioning from Rhino software to Revit software during the design process when developing architectural projects has been time-consuming, requiring manual rebuilding of models. This introduces inefficiencies. Henning Larsen Architects has faced this challenge head on. This has become particularly relevant with smaller fees and tighter deadlines. To address this, we’ve developed a solution using Construction Cloud and Data Exchange to enable a seamless automation of the flow of geometry from Rhino to Revit. Using Dynamo, Python, the Revit API, and Data Exchange for Dynamo, our solution automates the creation of native Revit components. This case study will showcase how our innovative approach has revolutionized the transition process, which significantly reduces time and effort while ensuring model integrity and accuracy. You’ll gain insights into the technical implementation, the benefits of automation, and practical applications for your own projects.
