Description
Traditional BIM workflows demand technical expertise, often excluding those without specialized training. This session will introduce a new approach that integrates large language models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, into architectural design to simplify BIM generation. By using natural-language commands, users can generate architectural models in tools like Revit software without relying on sliders, scripts, or detailed software knowledge. We’ll demonstrate a working prototype that translates everyday instructions—such as, “create a two-story apartment with eight rooms”—into editable BIM elements. This talk will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can bridge the gap between language and design, opening BIM access to architects, developers, and even nonexperts. Join us to rethink the future of modeling—from clicking to conversing.
