This session will focus on how to encourage the use of the model in low-adoption sectors and get the most out of the models during preconstruction. Andy Gajbhiye and Daniel Olivares from Joeris General Contractors will cover how you can use models during preconstruction in low-adoption sectors, or when the BIM (Building Information Modeling) process is not required. We will share best practices for quickly conditioning models, performing takeoff, comparing versions, monitoring design progress, and collaborating with Assemble Insight software to greatly improve preconstruction workflows and gain a competitive edge in a competitive market. The team will also focus on the route to developing an implementation strategy and bringing a change in mindset for using models effectively.
